Beautiful living room with huge windows, thus alot of glass which is hot in summer and cold in winterAdding the operating shades adds warmth and softness to the large windows
Small lower level family room with some new paint and carpetAdd new furniture, wood blinds, lighting and accessories and they now spend alot of time in the new space
Basic bathroom with plastic shower curtainSame bathtub area, but with new paint, new custom shower curtain hung from the ceiling, and new accessories.  A complete change!!
Two bare dinette windowsAdding the valances that go to the ceiling makes the windows look much larger, and adds color and texture.

A lovely dining room, but bare windows with "too much" and "too big" on the tea cartOperating shades give softness and privacy, thus making the windows a focal point in the room.

Totally out of balance and definitely not a good way to treat a window with a transom.

By moving everything to the top and adding panels, the window is much more balanced and dramatic.
