Having Mona help me with windows, paint and whatever I asked her was a huge timesaver for me. She is the expert as a designer, listens to what is important to me, and has a unique vision of putting the inside of a home all together and making it look fabulous. Dear Mona, After first finding your booth at the Dakota County Fair with my neighbor, we were introduced to our many versatile talents of window treatments and we were so impressed with the quality of your work. I was with my neighbor when you completed window treatments and other work for her. You were willing to work with her fabrics already purchased. After moving to my present home in a condo, I asked you if you would give a presentation in our commons room for all of us to help decide what to choose to decorate our new homes. You were so well received and many residents at that time enlisted you for many different projects from window treatments, bedspreads, pillows, etc. Your beautiful work was rich with quality workmanship. Testimonials - Read what others are saying! I would love to share my story with you. I don’t think the story I am about to tell you is too uncommon. Like many of you, I have for many years longed to make my house my “beautiful home”. I have been married almost 14yrs, built 2 homes, and finally dove into decorating. I would have to say having 3 children close together, and very busy, I never took the time to make our home truly beautiful. Also, I allowed fear to put it off. I was scared I would make the wrong decision thus, costing us thousands of dollars. Enters Mona Anderson from” Mona Designs”. I was finally ready to start decorating. I was ready for color and a more mature look. I was ready for a grown up home!!! I started asking friends and people whose home were quite lovely. We have a piano teacher coming to our home and she suggested I contact her Aunt who was very knowledgeable and very good. Two things that was very important to me. I wanted someone with experience and would listen to me and my desires. From my first phone call with Mona I felt right away I would be in good hands. We set up an appointment for her to come see my home and to talk about my hopes and dreams. I had chosen the two colors I thought would work... Mona took both colors throughout the two rooms and quickly discerned one of them would not work and explained to me why it wouldn’t work. That alone saved me tons of time. Secondly, one of the colors I was working with was a chocolate red and Mona suggested not only doing the accent wall red but also my kitchen as well!! I loved her idea right away. We have maple in our home and I cannot begin to tell how beautiful it looks. I sincerely believe Mona can work with any budget. She did with me. If you are looking for someone who is very creative, listens, and will help you transform your home to make it the beautiful home you always hoped it to be, then Mona is the designer for you. We have done paint, window treatments, furniture, and now finishing up with accent pieces. I love my home and wouldn’t change one thing!!! One more comment, Mona has contacts and can help with knowing where to go and who to contact. We needed some artwork for a large wall and she even knew of someone who could come in with acrylics, oils or whatever you would be looking for and we could select by holding these pieces in the place we wanted them. It helped to see the piece in our home thus helping to make an accurate decision. It wasn’t too expensive either. Decorating our home has been a wonderful experience. The other thing I really liked about Mona is she was always well thought out. She really thought things through. Along with that she gently encouraged me on to the next step. I tend to be a procrastinator so it helped having Mona’s guidance. If you would like someone who truly cares about your dreams, hesitations, and making your house a beautiful home then take the step to consult Mona who in a long run will probably save you time and money.
